To facilitate the sale of alcohol at your event, obtaining a temporary liquor licence is imperative. The event organiser holds the responsibility of ensuring that no alcohol is distributed or sold within the specified event area unless a valid liquor licence is presented for the sale of alcohol.
Approval for both the sale and consumption of alcohol is required from your local council and South Australia Police (SAPOL). Individuals engaged in supplying or serving liquor must have completed a responsible service of alcohol (RSA) course successfully.
